Lucas Farrar is a 2027 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Berkeley Prep. Medium athletic build with some wiry strength and more to come. 7.11 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has good footwork and rounds the ball well, light on his feet, huge arm strength with some effort at release. Also worked out in the outfield, elite level arm strength and carry, obvious athletic actions. Right handed hitter, starts from a spread stance with a simple toe tap trigger, was well timed and had barrel adjustability, present bat speed with some jump off the barrel, line drive stroke and contact at present. Also pitched, has a short wind up with a high leg raise and a full arm swing to a high 3/4's arm slot, swings the lead leg to landing, some energy at release. Fastball topped out at 90 mph with more there. Curveball had good depth in the mid-70's, also killed the spin well on his change up.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
