Alex Weingartner is a 2026 RHP/MIF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Berlin, NJ who attends St. Augustine Prep. Right-handed pitcher with a medium frame and lean muscle build in the lower half. Staggered feet start from the first base side of the rubber with a standard windup delivery. Short side-step to a coiled belt-high lift and full arm swing to a 3/4 slot release down the slope. Showed arm strength running the fastball up to 90 mph and sitting in the upper-80s over his two-inning stint. Featured a curveball for strikes in the zone in the 69-71 mph range and changeup with depth in low-80s. Solid three-pitch mix when he keeps his direction inline down the slope and stays on top of the ball at extension. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
