Benjamin Fuqua is a 2027 LHP/1B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Memorial. Good size for age with present length and definition. Ran a 8.29 in the sixty. Left-handed pitcher, works middle rubber into a high three-quarter slot and medium arm action that is clean through the back. Some crossfire to delivery with tempo. Fastball is deceptive, good shape and depth to his curveball. Fading changeup with subtle depth. First baseman, works through the glove well and quick turns to bag. Good arm strength and accuracy, smoother on dirt. Switch hitter, open stance and narrow base with high back elbow. Good lift to path and shows more intent and strength from the right side. Developing but shows potential. Good traits on the hill. Named to Top Prospect list.
