2024 High School All State Select Championship (2025-2026 Grads)
Tanner Drda is a 2026 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Memorial. Tall, athletic build with well-proportioned strength present and projection remaining. Primary outfielder, gets around the baseball with sound footwork and moves through it well. Fields it properly off his front foot, carrying his momentum well into a loose arm circle and three-quarters release. Throws had effortless carry on them while remaining online to their respective targets. Recorded arm strength up to 94 mph from the outfield. Secondary right-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch on the first base-side of the rubber. Lifts his front leg up to the belt and separates his hands at the chin. Utilizes a deeper arm path to accelerate into an extended three-quarters release. Generates useful momentum and carries it well as he works down the slope. Fastball showed short arm-side run with heavy life, sitting in the mid-80s while ultimately peaking at 88 mph. Sequenced in his 11-5 curveball effectively, which had sharp and abrupt depth to it. Right-handed hitter, starts in a narrow stance with a loose hand set-up and high back elbow. Utilizes a high leg lift trigger for timing before working into a level bat path. Attempts to stay direct to the point of contact and do damage to the pull-side. Has heavy hands with lots of power potential when extended through the zone. Posted an exit velocity of 94 mph. Ran a 6.94 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student. Named to the 2024 HS All State Select Championship Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
