Jonathan Thornton is a 2027 C/3B/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Corona, CA who attends Santiago. Young medium build with lots of room to get stronger. 6.89 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up in a one knee down stance, has quick and athletic actions coming out, clean transfers with a short and compact arm action, has some carry on his throws and makes very accurate throws, pretty polished catching skills. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow stance with a simple lower half shift into contact, short and quick swing path, has some strength in his hands and shows some projectable bat speed, best contact were line drives to the middle of the field. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
