2025 PG WWBA Workout Showcase (July 5)
Eddie Mambo Flores is a 2027 SS/MIF, OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Elmsford, NY who attends Pleasantville. Medium frame with a real athletic look, life to his actions and time to continue to add overall physicality. Ran the 60-yard dash in 6.82 seconds. Primary position infielder, showing are real quick first step getting into his angels quickly and showing closing speed. Rangy to both sides laterally setting the stage for his soft hands to lead to clean transfer through a deeper two-hand funnel to the midline. Arm plays here, showing the ability to change slots and generated throws reaching 87 mph across the diamond. Reps in the outfield as well, with similar action as the infield. Clean mechanics and the arm plays up even more here, reaching 90 mph on feeds back to the infield. RHH working from a spread stance, high handset and deeper hand load to trigger. Really creates torque from the hips and translates that into quick hands and real bat speed. Path to impact tends to get a bit steep here and there but when on plane the ball jumped. Middle of the field impact with intent to do damage. Intriguing overall offensive skillset with the projection to continue to the next level. Outstanding student as well. Named to the PG WWBA Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
