2025 PG National Showcase
Wilson Andersen is a 2026 RHP/SS with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Tampa Jesuit HS. Extra large frame with lots of room to fill out and project. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Fastball was explosive up to 97 mph. The heater generated upwards of 20+ IVB and exploded at the top of the zone; got lots of whiff and empty swings on the pitch. Worked the fastball in the strike zone well and could command the pitch. Showed both a curveball and a slider that were both landed for strikes, the curveball up to 80 mph and slider in the mid-80s. Slider had more bullet shape to it and got swings-and-misses against right-handed hitters. Changeup had good fading action to the arm side. Full four pitch mix highlighted by an explosive fastball; big arsenal now with huge ceiling in terms of stuff. Great student. Verbal commitment to Mississippi State. Selected to play in the 2025 Perfect Game All-American Classic.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
