Nikash Patel is a 2027 SS/RHP, MIF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from South Plainfield, NJ. Works from a longer lean frame with present athleticism and physical upside. Primary shortstop, smooth glove actions, has good lateral range, works through the ball well, intriguing arm talent, recorded arm strength up to 80 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch, slightly coiled leg lift into balance, quick arm, pounded the zone with the fastball, showed natural arm side run and topped at 82 mph, tons of life through the zone. Landed two-plane breaker with both tilt and bite present. Projects well as an arm, will add velocity with added strength. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wider even base with loose hands and a low back elbow, plenty of present bat speed, impacts the ball with authority, produced hard contact to the entire field, flashed some juice from gap to gap, recorded an exit velocity of 79 mph. Ran a 7.25 sixty-yard dash. Named to the Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
