2025 PG National Showcase
Logan Schmidt is a 2026 LHP/1B with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Aliso Viejo, CA who attends Ganesha. A bigger frame and build, with a medium build. Strength present. Ran a 6.94 60-yard dash. Took to the mound as a left-handed pitcher working from the wind-up with a leg lift around the core and some feel to stride down the mound. He moved well and was able to work from a longer and cleaner three-quarters arm slot. Some feel to push down the mound. He commanded well with feel to locate east/west. The fastball worked 91-94 mph with a sinker profile that showed well. He also flashed a breaking ball in the 78-80 mph range with spin above 2,100 RPMs. The pitch had a good 10-4 shape, with good tilt and sweep to it. He flashed a changeup at 85 mph with spin above 2,000 RPMs and feel to create some fade/tumble. He worked quicker on the mound, with some tempo and pace to his actions. Recently re-classified from the 2027 class. Outstanding student. Named to play in the 2025 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
