Jason Sproull is a 2026 OF/RHP/C with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Wilmington, NC who attends Emsley A Laney. Lean athletic high waisted build with lots of room to get stronger, very projectable physically. 6.89 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, is quick to the ball and is light and athletic on his feet, quick transitions into throwing, fast arm with outstanding arm strength when he gets on top of the ball and pulls it down, will drop his arm slot at times, has all the tools and athleticism to be a high level defender. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with an early short leg raise trigger, good hand set, upper body rotational swing, can use his lower half more to generate bat speed, flashed some hard left center field contact, handled the barrel well in the games, will continue to improve offensively with adjustments and additional strength. Also pitched, works from a simple turn and throw delivery, very busy and long arm action creates inconsistency in his release, mostly throws from a whippy low 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 86 mph and was very effective in the zone. Still learning his release on his slider but creates tight spin and a late bite. Raw skills on the mound but lots of talent to develop with repetitions and coaching. Excellent student. Named to the Sunshine Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
