Carter Vinar is a 2027 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Brunswick, MD who attends Brunswick. Medium frame with well-proportioned strength present and projection remaining. Primary shortstop, worked through the ball well and showed the glove on-time. Displayed quality footwork with plenty of lateral range in the dirt. Separated into a shorter arm path with some arm speed generated into release. Delivered accurate throws across the diamond while recording arm strength up to 81 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a full wind-up delivery from the first base side of the rubber. Lifts his front leg up to the belt and breaks his hands at the chin. Separates into an inline arm path before working into a three-quarters arm angle. Accelerates his arm well and gets directly over his front-side. Fastball showed some arm-side run and ride through the zone, ultimately peaking at 80 mph. Sequenced in his 11-5 breaking ball effectively which showed sharp break with an intriguing spin profile. Left-handed hitter, starts in a wider, slightly open stance with a high back elbow and tight hand set-up. Utilizes a small toe-tap trigger for timing before working into a flatter and sometimes slashy bat path. Has some present hand speed with developing quickness in the hips. Produced fairly consistent contact to the pull-side and middle of the field during batting practice. Projects for more power with additional strength and mechanical refinement. Posted an exit velocity of 76 mph. Ran a 7.50 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
