Josiah Hatchett is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 5-8 158 lb. frame from Powder Springs, GA who attends Mceachern. Smaller build with room to mature and add strength. Ran a 7.21 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, works from the third base side of the rubber. Uses a balanced and well pace delivery. Athletic look. Clean 3/4 arm slot and cuts the heater at 79 mph. Gets good extension and causes the fastball to play up a few ticks. Can really spin the curveball at 64 mph with 2300+ RPM but lacks some consistency. Has some solid components moving forward on the mound. Also worked out in the outfield, bounces around and shows athletic actions. Works through it well and uses a big crow hop with throws up to 79 mph. Left-handed hitter, uses a rhythmic set of hands and creates space well to wear out the pull side. Turns it over and took a very consistent overall round. Athletic player with good set of tools and solid future on the hill. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
