Curt Friedrich is a 2027 OF/LHP with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Summit, NJ who attends Delbarton. Compact athletic build with good lower half strength. Right handed hitter, starts from a medium and slightly open stance with a short stride into contact, simple and very repeatable swing mechanics, has fast hands and good bat speed, consistent hard line drive contact to all fields, impressive hit tool. 6.79 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, left handed thrower, works through the ball well, has a clean and quick release, makes low on-line throws with nice carry, arm works very well. Also pitched, works from an abbreviated wind up from the third base side, slightly closed on landing out front, mid to low 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 88 mph with cut glove side and run arm side. Also threw a hard and short slider/cutter, still developing consistency in his release but has good raw stuff. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
