Andrew Costello is a 2026 C/IF with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Fairview, PA who attends Cathedral Prep. Strong and compact athletic build. Very good runner for a catcher, 6.45 in the sixty. Sets up low and side saddle with quick feet gaining ground into his throws, has quickness in all his actions, makes accurate throws with strong carry, under control and repeatable actions. Right handed hitter, sets up slightly open with a deep hand load, upper body swing with a direct hand path, big bat speed, impacts the ball hard out front, couple of 105-107 EV's in batting practice, has always dominated at the plate at every level. Good student with a verbal commitment to Wake Forest. Selected to play in the 2025 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
