Paul Chamberland is a 2027 RHP/1B/2B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Stow, MA who attends Belmont Hill. Medium athletic build with broad shoulders and plenty of room to get stronger. Has a high leg raise delivery leading to a high 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball worked in the upper 70's and topped out at 80 mph, gets some carry through the zone and throws strikes with his fastball, spots especially well to the glove side. Slider had a short and consistent break, change up had some fade with good arm speed. Strike thrower with a good idea how to mix his pitches. 7.97 runner in the sixty. Plays in the infield when not on the mound, step by step actions to and through the ball, arm worked better on the mound than in the field. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread and open stance with a tight hand load, some drift into contact, has some strength in his hands with some bat speed. Good student.
