Eddie Zaun is a 2025 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends Venice Senior HS. Recorded a 7.01 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with lots of present strength and physicality to the body. Primary shortstop with very good arm strength up to 93 mph across and 94 mph from the outfield. Two hands out in front with clean actions to the backhand. Good carry on throws with medium length to the arm action and will have a solid arm long term. Right-handed hitter with a wider base and heavy hands in the right-handed hitter's box. Turns on balls well to the pull side with lots of strength at the point of contact. Good rhythm to the swing with the ability to adjust to multiple pitch types. Good student. Verbal commitment to Miami.
