Talan Holiday is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends American Heritage HS. Physical build with some room for additional projection. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Compact delivery with a simple turn step into a leg lift above the belt. Compact, online arm action with quickness to the stroke. High three-quarters arm slot. Fastball sat in the 87-90 mph range flashing some cutting action when locating to the glove side. Flashed a changeup in the low-80s with arm side action and up to 17" of horizontal. Breaking ball was very good with up to 19" of horizontal sweeping action. Sweeper was able to induce swings-and-misses from hitters of either handedness. Functions as an out pitch and will work as such long term. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to North Carolina.
