Carter Hadnot is a 2027 SS with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Rialto, CA who attends Aquinas. Lean athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. 6.54 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, pure middle of the infield defensive actions, moves fluidly and smoothly through the ball, clean on the charge, plenty of arm strength with more to come, quick twitchy hands, has all the ingredients for a high level defender. Switch-hitter at the plate, sets up from a medium straight stance from both sides with a knee raise trigger, simple swing mechanics, has very fast hands from the left side and a fluid swing, contact over power at this point but really projects as he fills in and gets stronger. Maybe a bit more polished from the left side due to additional reps but similar bat speed and execution. Stands out for his projection in all areas. Good student.
