Peter Alexander Vazquez Torres is a 2021 SS with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Guayama, PR who attends Lidership Christian Academy. Medium and athletic build with lots of room for growth. Primary shortstop works through the ball as he is fielding slightly to the side. Changes direction well with good angles and a quick transfer from glove hand alongside accurately throwing across the diamond at 87 mph. A 7.10 runner in the sixty yard dash. The switch hitter from the right side stands in the box with a wide stance, high hands, and a short stride with a toe tap trigger as he swings with good bat speed and barrel control. From the left side, more of an even stance with a short toe tap trigger and drops the barrel on the ball creating good lift. Great student. Named to the World Showcase Top Prospect List.
