Alex Waye is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 6-0 135 lb. frame from Massapequa, NY who attends Holy Trinity. As a primary LHP, utilized an abbreviated windup with coiled leg lift into balance point. Displayed a loose, easy arm stroke and released from a 3/4 slot to ultimately top out at 82 mph. Consistently pounded all quadrants of the zone with solid incorporation of the lower half to explode down the mound. Flashed a vertically shaped curveball with some depth at 1818 rpm. From the OF, he worked through the ball well with clean actions and fluid transfers. Topped out at 81 mph. On the offensive end, the lefty started from an even base with a high hand set and high back elbow. Utilized a hanging leg lift trigger and repeated a line drive approach successfully gap to gap with sound barrel control. Posted an exit velo of 80 mph. Ran a 7.47 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
