Jet Gilliam is a 2023 OF/2B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Henderson, NV who attends Desert Oasis. Slender young athletic build. Quick twitch athlete, ran a 6.62 at the Junior National Showcase and plays faster than that on the field. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance, has fast hands and really explodes his hands and hips hard to start his swing, has easy bat speed and impressive power for his size and physical development, can create back spin and carry, very interesting bat potential. Centerfield tools on defense, long and loose arm action with some carry, funnels the ball cleanly out front, has good footwork through the ball with a clean transition. Good student, verbal commitment to Long Beach State. Named to the PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
