2023 WWBA Workout Showcase (Sat)
Langston Rupert is a 2024 OF/MIF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Combine Academy. Wiry build with present athleticism that translates to every facet of the game, loose athlete with more room to fill. Ran a 6.78 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, the strength and athleticism shine out here in the grass, easy mover and glides, flying through the baseball with lightning quick arm speed, low lines on throws with some accuracy, high slot and carry, carries his weight through it, lot of high level tendencies out here. Right-handed hitter, squared off and even base, hands tight to the ear, lean strength really shows here too, quick double toe tap trigger, showing it in flashes, real bat speed here, turns it over some, working to create consistent extension but really showed things to like in the swing. Higher ceiling prospect with lots of athleticism and arm talent that will translate to the next level. Good student. Named to the 2023 WWBA Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
