Michael Bienlien is a 2016 RHP with a 6-3 225 lb. frame from Chesapeake, VA who attends Great Bridge HS. Big and strong build, fairly mature athletically. Long and deep arm action, creates angle to the plate from an extended 3/4's arm slot, will drop lower at times. Fastball to 91 mph, gets good heavy action on it down in the zone and works down consistently. Nice change up with good fading and sinking action. Slider lacked ideal power with a short and controlled break. Has potential as a durable sinker/slider type with improvement on his breaking ball. Excellent student, verbal commitment to South Carolina.
