Yankarlos Rivera Concepcion is a 2026 OF/IF with a 5-10 177 lb. frame from Aguada, PR who attends Christian Military Academy. Medium athletic build with good present strength. 6.95 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense with some solid arm strength with a high over-the-top slot and has the makings of real arm strength. Aggressive charge with some carry and one-hop throws to the bag. Secondary infielder with good feet and softer glove work. Deep gather and solid range to the backhand with carry on throws across. Also pitched, works from an abbreviated wind up with a short side step start, medium length arm swing to a 3/4's arm slot. Curveball was his best pitch with tight spin and some sharpness. Arm strength/velocity didn't translate from the field, topped out at 81 mph. Also flashed a change up. Right-handed hitter starts from a high handset with a high back elbow utilizes a short leg lift trigger. Has some intent in the swing. Open stance and swings hard with impact out front to the pull-side. Some feel to create backspin. Low tension juice to the pull-side and left-center. Good student. Named to the PG High School All-State Select Championships Top Prospect List.
