Jacob Lonjak is a 2027 1B/RHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Alliston, ON who attends Banting Memorial High School. Medium, athletic build with well-proportioned strength present. Primary first baseman, gets to his spots well and shows the glove early. Funnels the baseball cleanly to his chest before working into an over-the-top slot. Stands up at times when making turns. Delivered accurate throws across the diamond while recording arm strength up to 75 mph. Left-handed hitter, starts in an even stance with a high back elbow. Utilizes a simple stride for timing before working into an uphill bat path. Gets the front foot down on-time while generating easy bat speed through the zone. Gets stuck on his back-side at times. Produced fairly consistent contact to the middle of the field during batting practice. Projects for more power with additional strength. Posted an exit velocity of 85 mph. Ran a 7.28 sixty-yard dash. Good student.
