Cale Nielsen is a 2026 RHP/OF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Bakersfield, CA who attends Bakersfield Christian. Features a medium, athletic frame with plenty of room to add. Threw from the stretch only with a belt high lift and a quarter turn into a downhill delivery, throwing out of a high three-quarter arm slot. Fastball showed some arm side run, coupled with a curveball that has 11-5 shape and stayed firm. Slider was firm with sweep and had 11-4 shape. Mixes up the pitches with ease and stayed balanced with an overall clean operation. Thew from an over the top arm slot from the outfield with some carry and stayed accurate with one -hop to all the bags. Switch hitter at the plate, from the left side he has an open stance with a leg lift load. Has a smooth stroke with feel for the barrel and a pull side approach. From the right side, the look is similar but with less power and an all-fields approach. Ran a 7.03 sixty-yard dash.
