Colton Donahue is a 2026 SS/MIF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Northfield, NJ who attends Mainland Reg. Works from a medium frame with some room to fill. Primary shortstop, worked through the baseball well, displayed a clean funnel with quick transitions, got rid of the ball quickly while staying in control of the body, adjusted arm slots well, delivered accurate throws, arm will continue to develop over time, recorded arm strength up to 82 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even base with a low back elbow, utilizes a toe tap trigger and clean coil prior to launch, has some present bat speed and strength in the hands, showed glimpses of developing power, can use the entire field and create carry from gap to gap when timed up, recorded an exit velocity of 86 mph. Ran a 6.88 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student. Named to the Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
