Alvin Li is a 2026 RHP/3B/OF with a 5-10 171 lb. frame from Glen Rock, NJ who attends Bergen Academy Hackensack. Medium build with some present strength. Throws from a medium length arm action with a 3/4's arm slot, gets good extension out front on release with some effort at release, repeated his mechanics well and had good feel for throwing to both sides of the plate and throwing to spots. Fastball topped out at 83 mph with some running life. Showed good arm speed on his curveball with a short 12/6 shape, curveball improved the more he threw it. Has some polish and maturity in his approach and challenges hitters. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread straight stance with a tight hand load, rotational swing with limited lower half shift, tends to get stuck on his back side, made soft line drive contact to all fields. 7.55 runner in the sixty. Played outfield when not on the mound, has young actions through the ball and tends to stop to throw, arm works better on the mound than in the outfield. Elite level student.
