Davis Watson is a 2026 RHP/3B with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Millsboro, DE who attends Sussex Central. Big and strong build. Mixes up his arm slots and mechanics and throws from low 3/4's to high 3/4's, would benefit from more consistency and working at a slower pace. Slider was his best pitch, has good power to it and creates nice tight spin and good bite Fastball was in the upper 70's and topped out at 81 mph, gets consistent running action to both sides of the plate from the lower arm slots. Change up was a solid pitch, too, with good sinking depth. Also threw a few knuckleballs but still developing command of this pitch. Has three pitches with some quality if he can develop consistency and live in the strike zone. 7.92 runner in the sixty. Plays third base when not on the mound, deliberate step by step actions, has soft hands and fields the ball cleanly. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright stance with an open front side, inward toe tap trigger, has some strength in his hands and flashed the ability to lift the ball, uses the whole field. Good student.
