2025 PG New York Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Chase Tyburczy is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from West Milford, NJ who attends West Milford. Big and strong athletic build. Right handed hitter, starts from a slightly open base with a high hand load, short stride into contact, can get into his lower half more to create bat speed, will get downhill in his swing plane at times, has strength in his swing and the ball comes off well with back spin and carry at times. Primary outfielder on defense, has good arm strength from a high 3/4's arm slot, projectable arm, athletic actions through the ball, extra steps at time to throw. Ran a 6.83 in the sixty at the 2024 PG Junior National, 3.80 in the 30 here. Also pitched and has two-way talent, gets coiled well over the rubber and uses his lower half well to generate drive and rotation to the plate, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 83 mph with nice run and sink. Slider was a good pitch with power and a tight two-plane break, had feel for manipulating the shape and depth. Also threw a split finger change up with some tumble. Good student with a verbal commitment to Wagner. Named to the PG New York Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
