Brody Takacs is a 2026 1B/3B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from McMurray, PA who attends Peters Twp. Extra-large, physical build with well-proportioned strength present. Primary first baseman, moves well to his spots and shows the glove on-time while bending at the waist on occasion. Showcased smooth glove actions and made quality turns across the diamond. Displayed developing athleticism and lateral range in the dirt. Delivered accurate throws while recording arm strength up to 82 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts in an upright, slightly open stance with an even hand set-up. Utilizes a clean weight shift and simple stride for timing before working into a slightly uphill bat path. Rotates his hips with intent while creating separation into launch. Gets extended and a bit lengthy through the zone. Has plenty of evident strength in the hands with intriguing power from gap to gap. Posted an exit velocity of 91 mph. Ran a 7.72 sixty-yard dash. Good student. Named to the 2024 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
