Padraic Bodenstein is a 2027 LHP/1B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Scottsville, VA who attends Seton Home Study. Features a taller build with some projection. Defensively in the OF, he showed avg. athleticism with his actions. Fields it out front with some momentum and shuffle into it. Throws were higher arcing from a lower slot where he got up to 79 mph with it. At 1B, he made his DP turns with accuracy and quickness while also showing the ability to manipulate his slots when needed. Offensively, he sits in a narrow in-line stance. Showed a handsy swing that flashed some barrel quickness. Minimal barrels throughout his batting practice round. On the mound, he uses a larger mid chest leg lift that syncs with a smaller sit in his driveleg. Arm works longer out the back and to release out of a ¾ slot. His fastball worked up to 80 and lived in the mid-upper 70s. Mixed in an upper 50s breaker he slowed his arm down on that showed some sweeping shape to it. Flashed a fading CH in the upper 60s that exhibited late fade.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
