Ethan Grodack is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Lake Ariel, PA who attends Western Wayne. Nice athletic build with some present strength, looks bigger than listed. Works from a rotational delivery that uses his lower half well, full back turn over the rubber, 3/4's arm slot, still developing consistency in his mechanics and arm timing. Fastball worked in the low 80's and topped out at 83 mph, gets occasional hard running life when down in the zone, tended to pitch up this outing. Slider was his best pitch in quality and command, well shaped with some tilt and bite, can use his slider more often early in counts. 5.16 runner in the sixty. Showed a strong and accurate arm in the outfield with solid athletic footwork into his throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow stance with a rotational upper body swing, front side tends to pull off early at times, downhill swing path. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
