Steven Trkulja is a 2026 1B/RHP with a 6-3 173 lb. frame from Toronto, ON. Features a tall, lanky build with strength present. Ran a 7.46 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman. Caught the ball consistently using a patient approach on ground balls. Can make the routine play. Threw 74 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter. Utilizes an even stance with a wide base. Swings on a slightly lofted path with the ability to create a clean launch. Has quality bat speed present with good rotational acceleration. Strength allows for balls to be driven with authority. Projects well for even more power down the line. Right-handed pitcher. Shows good intent within tall and fall mechanics. Throws from a 3/4 slot using a short arm action. Fastball sat 75-79 mph with slight armside run. Paired it with a changeup at 69-71 mph with tumbling action. Has confidence in the offering and can land it for strikes often. Will throw it on consecutive pitches. Flashed an upper-60’s slider with short, horizontal action. Still developing consistent feel for the offering.
