Evan York is a 2025 C with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from Waterloo, ON. Large frame with long, lean build; body really projects well. Ran 60 yard dash in 8.74 seconds. Switch-hitter, spread out from left side with even base and high back elbow, tends to hit off of front side and create downward path, showed solid hands through swing; more barrel skills from the right side with similar downward swing plane, has feel to make contact and will improve as he gains strength. Worked out behind the plate, high set with even base, step-replace out of crouch, high-effort thrower, falls off hard glove side upon release, clocked up to 68 mph on throws.
