Ty Ordonez is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Herndon, VA who attends Oakton. Works from a leaner, high-waisted frame with room to fill. Right-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch, simple delivery, showcased pure arm strength, good lower half movements, filled up the zone with fastball, topped out at 85 mph, flashed changeup with fade that replicated arm speed of fastball, disrupted hitters timing, mixed in 12-6 curveball with some vertical bite, flashed low-70s slider with spin up to 2700 rpm, missed several barrels with mix, plenty of upside, projects for added velocity and physical strength. Starts in a wider base, low hand set, uphill bat bath, multiple line drives back up the middle, showed the ability to work all parts of the field. Ran a 7.26 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student. Named to the Sunshine Mid-Atlantic Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
