David Hinojosa is a 2026 RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Corona, NY who attends Poly Prep Country Day School. Athletic build and frame with lots of room to add strength. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Quick-paced, compact delivery with plus arm speed throughout the arm circle. Fastball gets natural cutting life to it and can get it to either side of the plate. Curveball shows good shape and sweeping action with the ability to land pitch for strikes. Arm speed, talent, and athleticism are an exciting combination and there's lots of upside. Good student. Verbal commitment to Vanderbilt.
