2024 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Gianni Vora is a 2026 SS/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Niantic, CT who attends Choate Rosemary Hall. Big and strong frame with a very athletic look. 6.98 runner in the sixty. Primary left side infielder on defense, works through the ball aggressively and fields the ball cleanly with sound glove actions, can get out of control and off balance at times in his transitions, good arm strength from an over the top arm slot, more third base type of actions projecting forward, especially has he continues to fill out physically. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright stance with a tight hand load and a short shift into contact, showed fast and strong hands with good extension through contact, present bat speed with gap to gap contact, more line drive over lift at present but can over power a baseball and drive it. Also pitched although he isn't a regular pitcher, worked from the stretch with a simple turn and throw delivery and 3/4's arm slot. Threw strikes with a mid-80's fastball that topped out at 87 mph with some cutting life, also mixed in a couple of curveballs with some spin and bite. Could develop as a two-way talent if he pitched more regularly. Outstanding student, verbal commitment to Northeastern. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
