2025 PG New York Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Nick Speckenbach is a 2027 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from West Nyack, NY who attends Clarkstown South. Larger athletic build with good present strength. Left handed hitter, sets up in a straight balanced stance with a high compact hand load, swings with intent and has a heavy barrel, hard line drive contact to all fields, lots of projection as a hitter. Primary third baseman on defense, step by step actions to the ball, tends to back up and stand up at times, extra steps into his throws, arm strength is his best present defensive tool. Also pitched and showed mound potential. Works from a full windup with a leg raise delivery and a deep arm takeaway in back, 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball was in the low 80's and topped at 84 mph with some ride up in the zone and some arm side run down. Slider was a good pitch with two-plane depth and a late break, used it as his put away pitch after getting ahead with fastball strikes. Good student. Named to the PG New York Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
