Andrew Gette is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 6-5 215 lb. frame from North Oaks, MN who attends Mounds View. A taller and lean frame with good length throughout and some athletic traits. Works from the wind-up with a slower and controlled sidestep into the leg lift around the belt. He coils slightly and has some feel for the move downhill, extending a bit with the front leg. He had a longer arm action with good looseness and whip working through his release. Quick arm, and he controls it well from a three-quarters slot. The fastball worked 90-93 mph, with spin above 2,400 RPMs. It's a pitch that has good plane to it and could show some life/sink. Also showed a slider working 81-86 mph, blending two shapes. When it was 81-84 mph, it had a higher 10-4 shape and depth, with good spin above 2,600 RPMs. He flashed it up to 86 mph with harder, lateral shape, cuttery on occasion with spin above 2,500 RPMs, as well. Showed a changeup up to 86 mph with some depth. Good student. Committed to Miami.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
