Christopher Desiderio is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Garden City, NY who attends Garden City. Long limbed projectable frame with wiry strength and plenty of room and time to add muscularity. Primary position LHP using full windup from the middle of the rubber. Segmented operation, leading him to a full arm path that is deep in the back and clean overall. Leg lift just above the belt, leading to pretty good direction down the slope. FB up to 77 mph as it sat in the mid-70s with some ride in the zone and a lot of potential to be a power offering. Really gets on top of the CB, showing deep vertical break that peaked around 70 mph and very good spin traits with more to come. Really good projection, especially from the left side, so a good follow here. Reps from the OF as well working with glove off to the side and a bit upright. Shorter arm action here with some fluidness and accurate throws up to 76 mph. LHH working from an open stance with a tight handset and high back elbow. Leveraged stroke with some strength in hands and pull oriented approach for the most part. Consistent with the barrel creating some good line drives and emerging pop. A lot of potential in all areas of the game for this young athlete. Very good student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
