Shows some firmer hands on the infield playing the ball deeper on the body before working into the throws with a shuffle and showing some arm strength and an ability to change the slot going left. Starts off set on the mound working with cleaner mechanics down the hill getting to a three-quarters slot with some cross fire action to the release. The fastball got up to 83 mph with arm side sink at times. Curveball lands with good tilt and tighter spin through the zone as a true swing and miss type offering showing spin rates into the 2500 RPM at times. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wider base showing some rhythm and timing to the swing. Worked middle to pull side with a tight turn in the upper half into contact getting the barrel out front with some success at times. Good student. Named to the Sunshine Gulf Coast Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
