Cruz Padilla is a 2027 C/3B with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Antioch, CA who attends Freedom. Strong athletic build, prototypical catcher's look. 7.23 runner in the sixty. Sets up high and side saddle behind the plate, gains ground into his throws, has athletic quickness, strong arm with accurate throws, has energy in his actions. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow and slightly closed stance, simple load and trigger, loads his hands tight and doesn't always get extended fully, has ability to create bat speed and some impact, best contact when the barrel gets out and he's pulling the ball, showed his power potential in the game. Excellent student.
