Nick Gifoli is a 2026 MIF/RHP with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Rancho Santa Margarita, CA who attends Santa Margarita Catholic. Medium athletic build. 7.02 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, fields the ball cleanly with quiet hands, throws well on the move and has good footwork through the ball, throws have some carry when he plants his feet, sound overall fundamentals. Right handed hitter, starts from an even stance with an inward toe tap trigger and hanging leg raise, has some hand quickness and controls the barrel well, high contact swing, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength. Took a turn on the mound, throws from a high 3/4's arm slot, works exclusively from the stretch with simple and smooth mechanics. Fastball was in the low 80's and topped out at 83 mph. Curveball showed good spin and some 11/5 depth, killed the spin well on his change up with some fading life. Strike thrower with a feel for pitching. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
