Trace Haggard is a 2026 C/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Mechanicsville, MD who attends Chopticon. Medium good looking frame with some twitch to his actions and just good athleticism. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.21 seconds. Primary position catcher, showing good flexibility and overall mobility behind the dish. Gains ground well in transition and showed arm strength up to 81 mph on pop-time best 2.00 seconds. Nice skillset here. Reps in the outfield as well, working methodically to the ball, using one hand gather and ripping throws back to infield up to 87 mph with accuracy. RHH working from a wider and turned in stance with a higher handset and wrapped barrel pre-pitch. Toe tap trigger for timing with good rhythm. Really turns well in the core and uses lofted path to impact. Rotational operation with good hand strength at impact. Very good student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
