Casen Pessel is a 2027 OF/LHP with a 5-7 115 lb. frame from Wolfe City, TX who attends Wolfe City. Small, compact frame with proportioned halves. Ran a 7.20 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, good build with the feet and has intent in the build, choppier steps right before reception, quick release with a low slot slinger arm action, works well laterally and can cover some ground, up to 82-mph and produced accurate throws. Secondary left-handed pitcher, high three-quarters slot, worked the fastball (max 78-mph) to both sides of the plate, upper 60's slider had outlier spin for velocity at 2345 RPM, best offering with some bite and sweep, also has a change in the mix, present control with three pitches to compete with. Left-handed hitter, bent back knee with an open stance, loads into front foot toe heel lift, high hands with high back elbow set, flashed low linedrives to the pull-side, developing strength and power but showed good barrel skills with some feel to hit. Solid arm talent, can still add size and height as well. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
