Carson Moser is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 6-7 215 lb. frame from Greenfield, NY who attends Saratoga Central Catholic. Extra big and tall high waisted build, has some present strength and plenty more to come. Works from a belt high leg raise with a longer arm action that creates some whip through release, hides the ball in back with an on-line arm stroke, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball was in the low 90's and topped out at 94 mph with big spin characteristics, lots of carry up in the zone and some running life down. Firm change up was a good pitch with nice arm side fading depth. Threw a hard slider with some short sharpness as his breaking ball. Works well to both sides of the plate, just needs more consistency to take the next step, has high ceiling fastball potential with the shape and spin. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Duke.
