Matthew Gryskiewicz is a 2027 3B/RHP, 1B, SS, MIF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Voorhees, NJ who attends Eastern. Medium, square shouldered frame with present strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 7.62 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, works low behind the baseball on the approach, lower slot on throws across with a shorter release, arm strength and carry will continue to develop, actions play well at corner spot. Also pitched, big side step at start of delivery, methodical delivery with rhythm to operation; similar low slot on release as across infield. Fastball topped out at 73 mph, shows running life given slot and able to induce weak contact while running in on batter's hands. Short shape to curveball and shows some depth up to 63 mph while also flashing a changeup at 65 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a hover leg lift for timing at the plate. Does a nice job of getting the barrel out front, strength in hands plays at point of contact, shows quickness to stroke through zone. Best contact to the middle of the field on a line, strength when squared and on time, turns over the barrel nicely. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
