2027 Top Prospects
Stephen Bobo  OF - 2027 - Shelbyville, TN
Vanderbilt

Bobo has some really exciting tools for a young prospect as he threw 91 mph from the outfield and burned a 6.80 second 60-yard dash time. He's twitchy and athletic with a very good left-handed swing that produced a ton of hard contact both in BP and game.

Mason Woods  LHP - 2027 - Moscow, TN
Kentucky

Woods checks a ton of boxes when talking about young prospects as he's got great size in his 6-foot-3 frame with a pretty left-handed swing. He was up to 85 mph from the outfield, worked in the low-80s on the bump and also banged a double off the right field wall in game.

Brayden Holland  C - 2027 - Collierville, TN
Samford

Holland did a little bit of everything well over the course of the weekend, showing some strength in the right-handed swing and good defensive skills. He blocks well and can throw runners out while he also ran the fastball up to 78 mph in relief.

Weston Sykes  SS - 2027 - Summerfield, NC
Uncommitted

Sykes is a very good mover with fluidity on the diamond and a strong arm that was up to 82 mph from the outfield. There's the makings of solid bat speed with good fundamental skills across the board.

Tristen Keesee  C - 2027 - Nolensville, TN
Uncommitted

Keesee is a very fluid mover on the mound and follows through nicely with his release. The fastball worked in the upper-70s and he showed good feel for a breaking ball too; the components here are solid.

Seaton Wix  C - 2027 - Frankfort, KY
Uncommitted

Wix is a strongly built catcher with advanced physicality and already impacts the ball with strength. He showed a power-oriented approach during BP and showed in game he can impact the ball to both halves of the field.

Grant Kruger  C - 2027 - Mount Juliet, TN
Uncommitted

Kruger has a strong arm, registering throws up to 74 mph with a 2.10 best pop time behind the dish. There's healthy exit velocity too and there's plenty of strength at the point of contact.
