Cylis Rainey ('29, IN) had arguably the best round of BP. It’s easy strength with natural lift, balanced and gets to his power easily. Supplements the operation with natural loft, barrel control and good extension through contact. Also was up to 90 mph from the outfield. Tools galore with this prospect.

Aaron Gould (’28, IL) was as consistent as it comes throughout this event. Whether it was at the plate or during defensive drills, there’s a professionalism on how he goes about his business. Showcased 80+ mph throws and a balanced BP round where he worked the entirety of the field.

Amir Walker

Amir Walker (’30, IL) displayed an athletic, projectable profile with tools on both sides of the ball. The right-handed hitter posted an 84 mph exit velocity, showing quick hands and a smooth, compact swing. In the outfield, he showed clean actions, a quick transfer and a live arm, posting throws up to 85 mph before running the fastball up to 81 mph on the mound.
